The ABC has admitted that Dr Norman Swan made comments that were clearly incorrect when he linked the heart-attack deaths of Shane Warne and Kimberley Kitching to Covid-19.
Senator Kimberley Kitching died of a sudden heart attack on March 10 aged 52, which ABC health pundit Norman Swan said was too much of a coincidence coming after she had Covid.
Warne died of a sudden heart attack on March 4 while on holiday in Thailand a few weeks after a mild case of Covid, and Senator Kitching went into cardiac arrest while driving six days later.
