Operators of nightlife outlets in Bangkok have voiced disappointment and frustration with restrictions on their operating hours as many gear up to reopen this week.
The government will consider further easing restrictions to allow nightlife entertainment venues to reopen in high surveillance "yellow zones", according to Deputy Prime Minister and Public Health Minister Anutin Charnvirakul.
Pubs, bars, karaoke bars, massage parlours and all other similar night entertainment establishments will be allowed to reopen in 31 provinces from June 1 but they will still be required to close at midnight, the government said on Friday.
