Some isolated populations of India like the Onge and Jarawa tribes of the Andaman islands have a higher genetic risk for COVID-19, according to a study led by researchers at CSIRCCMB and BHU.
COVAX was created last year to try and ensure vaccines are distributed fairly and is led by public health agencies including the World Health Organization.
Researchers and health officials have been monitoring the real-world performance of the COVID-19 vaccines to see how long protection lasts among vaccinated people.
