Business owners in Plymouth are eagerly awaiting the announcement of the Prime Minister s roadmap to lifting the third coronavirus lockdown.
Boris Johnson is sharing the steps with MPs in the House of Commons before making a public address to the nation from Downing Street at 7pm this evening.
All pupils in England’s schools will return to class from March 8 before outdoor mixing within the rule of six or two households measures will be allowed on March 29 at the earliest along with the reopening of outdoor sport venues such as basketball courts.

The UK recorded the highest annual death toll since World War II by 2020 due to the covid-19 pandemic, according to figures published today by the British statistics institute, the National Statistics Office (ONS).
Provisional figures between 3 January, 2019 and 1 January, 2021 point to 613,197 deaths in England and Wales, 14 percent above the previous five-year average (537,579). The BBC calculated that, adding to the figures from Scotland and Northern Ireland, published in part, the overall figure for the UK is close to 697,000 deaths, with an excess of 91,000 deaths, equivalent to a 15 percent rise, the largest increase in a 12-month period since 1940.
