The Department of Health of Ho Chi Minh City, the most populous locality in Vietnam, has recently requested that its medical facilities ready plans for the acceptance and treatment of COVID-19 patients amid increases in the number of new cases.
The prolonged COVID-19 outbreak in Ho Chi Minh City – Vietnam’s largest coronavirus hotspot – is showing signs of abating as the number of hospitalisations is decreasing considerably these days.
“Vietnam – Khat vong binh yen” (Vietnam – Desire for peace) programme was held on October 31 night to honour the contributions and sacrifice by collectives, individuals, especially those working on the frontline such as medical workers and Trade Union officials, in the country’s COVID-19 fight.
