BUENOS AIRES, June 5 ― Chile said yesterday that people inoculated with AstraZeneca's Covid-19 vaccine should get their second dose, but health officials put a new limit on the age of recipients until an investigation into possible complications is completed. On Thursday, the health ministry said.
SANTIAGO, June 1 ― Chile's public health regulator yesterday approved the use of Pfizer and BioNTech's Covid-19 vaccine for teenagers, it said in a statement, as the country races to hit a target of herd immunity by July. The Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine has already been rolled out in Chile.

SANTIAGO, April 16 ― Chile s health authorities said yesterday they believed a dip in the record case numbers the Andean nation has seen over the past week represents a “stabilisation” of a second Covid-19 wave thanks to strict lockdowns and a rapid vaccination programme that has fully innoculated a third of the population.
Health minister Enrique Paris told reporters he hoped the 9,000 record daily cases reached last week represented the peak of the latest outbreak.
