West Bengal on Monday recorded 4,546 new COVID-19 cases, pushing the tally to 19,69,791, while 37 more fatalities raised the toll to 20,375, a health department bulletin said.
West Bengal on Wednesday registered 11,447 new COVID-19 cases, 1,017 more than the previous day's figure, pushing the tally to 19,28,261, the health department said in a bulletin.
She also mentioned that states like Delhi, Maharashtra and West Bengal, which have seen a peak in coronavirus cases in the early part of January, may witness a slowdown of the growth trajectory.
