inside. crews say near the restaurant a pleasure boat also caught fire and sank. they had to call in a fire boat. it was decommissioned because of budget cuts but maintained for emergencies like earthquakes. the fire boat helped keep the flames from spreading but couldn t save the popular restaurant. i think it s probably the building was built around 1950s. and yes, it s been here for a while and it s been part of the neighborhood. so a lot of the citizens had concerns that this was one of their local spots. reporter: the cause is under investigation. crews are waiting until daylight to see if the building is structurally sound. then they are going to determine how to get in and start to figure out how this fire started. so even as fire crews are still working there, you may be able to see right next to it there is the park street bridge that bridge does remain open while they are doing their work here. back to you. thank you. sharon chin thank you. it is 6:01. anaheim
