Dorothy M. Tolliver, age 85, of Flora, Illinois, passed away Thursday morning, August 25, 2022, at Flora Rehabilitation & Health Care Center. She was born July 27, 1937, in Rantoul, the daughter of Alfred and Nina (Barnes) Holeman. She was united in marriage to John H Tolliver on April 21, 1977, in Clay City, and together they shared 40 wedding anniversaries until his death on March 10, 2018. Dorothy had worked at the International Shoe Factory, ran the Courthouse Café and the Little Diner, and was a beautician for many years. She enjoyed going to yard sales, collecting unique cookie jars, and growing flowers. She is survived by 2 children: Mistie (Dr. Alfonso) Urdaneta of Salem and Scott (Marla) Tolliver of Salem; daughter-in-law: Lina Griffy of Louisville; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and a sister: Lois Smith of Flora.
