Personnel from the Theodosia Area Volunteer Fire Department (TAVFD) responded to a structure fire Monday afternoon on Homestead Drive in the area behind Cash Saver Pantry on U.S. Highway 160.
In a post on its Facebook page, TAVFD says, “Everyone got out safely prior to our arrival. The double-wide mobile home was ‘on the ground when firefighters arrived,’ a spokesperson said. It’s thought the fire may have started in the attic crawl space, but the cause is unknown. A pickup was also destroyed in the blaze, but nearby mobile homes were saved with only minor damage to a next-door structure.”
