Police Chief Todd Link requested two cameras to cover north and southbound Illinois 157 immediately south of the Interstate 270 overpass.

Edley’s Bar-B-Que has three restaurants in Nashville, Tennessee and one in Chattanooga. What would be the chain’s first Illinois restaurant would be located diagonally from Edison’s Entertainment and was voted in favor of by the village’s building and zoning committee last month. Per a Nov. 20 village memo, Justin Venvertloh with Thouvenot, Wade and Moerchen (TWM) presented a site plan for Edley’s to go on Lot 2 of the project, which is anchored by a senior care center, with four other outlots in front, along the highway. Lot 2 is about 1.32 acres.
