In 1977, Gary Ingle returned to Ukiah from the Bay Area to take care of an elderly aunt on the ranch where he was born. With some time on his hands, he walked into the Palace Hotel and was hired by Pat Kuleto, early on, to work on the renovation as the finish foreman.
With two years of college completed, Catherine Woskow was living at Cave Creek Ranch on the ridge between Potter and Redwood Valley and heard Pat Kuleto was looking for artists.
