Midland ISD s Family Support Center is teaming up with the West Texas Food Bank to provide food baskets and hygiene supplies during the week of Spring Break. People don t stop being hungry during Spring Break, said Family Support Specialist Chalace Phillips. Thanks to generous donations from our staff and the West Texas Food Bank, we are able to provide these needed resources.

Even though Tuesday was a snow day for Midland ISD students, custodial staff – including these at South Elementary School – were at work disinfecting campuses. They were using PURO UV disinfection lights, which not only eradicate COVID-19, but other viruses and bacteria, such as the flu. Each campus will have at least one PURO UV light, which are being used in addition to misters and cleaning by hand.Courtesy of Midland ISD
Three schools recorded 42 percent of the COVID cases inside Midland ISD this past week, according to information from the district’s website.
