Early today starts right now good morning. Im melissena. We begin with that breaking news out of Southern California where chaos erupted on a freeway there. A traffic stop appears to have escalated into a dramatic shootout with the suspect. Three Highway Patrol officers were shot. Some of this video from the scene may be disturbing to watch. You can see there officers still taking cover while trying to drag one of their own to safety.
