Students camping out at San Francisco State University, the latest campus now home to a new demonstration. People should have the right to speak about whats going on. I dont understand what the end goal is. Mixed reaction tonight as a new college demonstration has popped up right here in the bay area. Good evening everyone. Im mike mibach and im julie julie haener. Tonight, students at San Francisco State University making their voices heard, demanding the college cut ties with companies doing business with israel. Now major delays on the bay bridge. If you are headed into San Francisco. Traffic finally starting to move, but the damage is already done. Traffic backed up. Well into oakland and emeryville. Youre looking at our video from sky fox on the right, left hand side of your screen and on the right hand side of your screen, you can see the backup at the bay bridge. Right now you see how bad that is . There was a car fire on the upper deck of the bay bridge, just west of treasure island. This is a picture of what it looked like. The car was hauled off by a tow truck just a short time ago, but as we were reminding you, traffic is going to be backed up. If youre if youre heading into San Francisco on the bay bridge, youre going to allow yourself need to allow yourself some extra time to cross it because of the lingering traffic effects that remain. Im Natasha Brown. Rahel is off. Maria meantime came ashore this morning with winds of 155 miles per hour. It is one of the strongest hurricanes to ever strike the island. Cbs correspondent david filed this report as the storm hit. Reporter the building about 100 yards behind me there are pieces of that building that have flown off and are now flying through the air like projectiles. This video was taken just outside of our hotel room showing the force of marias violent winds. It was enough for the hotel to order guests down to the lobby level. The region was still rebounding from the last storm. Irma when maria rolled in. Weve never had any back to back hurricanes before.
