Area residents are named Court Appointed Special Advocates

Several area residents have been named “Court Appointed Special Advocates” in Morris County. On November 13, a group of community volunteers were sworn in as Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) by Superior Court Judge Michael Paul Wright. CASA of Morris and Sussex Counties, a local non-profit organization, trains and supervises community volunteers to advocate for the best interests of children who have been removed from their homes due to abuse, neglect, or abandonment. The new volunteers include Sierra Adler of Morristown, Claire Becker of Midland Park, Gail Bernstein of Randolph, Tracy Bradshaw of Madison, Laura Donnelly of Parsippany, Allyson Doherty of Boonton, Nanette Fandino-Diaz of Sussex, Kate Garzon of Morristown, Julie Green of Randolph, Jennifer Juneau of Newton, Harleen Kaur of Montville, Stephanie Light of Morris Plains, Debra Lowenstein of Boonton, Laura McKay-Nejes of Chatham, Joanne Mucerino of Lake Hopatcong, Ellen Phalon of Wantage, Jeany Prasithp
