Good morning. The inmate who died had been fighting to put a stay on his execution in court over what his attorney called an experimental new drug protocol. Last night witnesses watched in horror as the inmate convulsed and seemingly struggled to talk well after he was given the lethal cocktail. He was struckling to talk but those were the words we got out, man, im not and somethings wrong. Reporter they may be the last words spoken by oklahoma inmate clayton locket uttered during his botched execution. His vein exploded during the lethal injection prompting authorities to quickly halt the procedure. It was my decision at that time to stop the execution.
