At a glance: ¯ Waterford, Beverly and Belpre students were impacted by bomb threats to the Wolf Creek Local, Fort Frye Local and Belpre City school districts Monday. ¯ The threats were delivered via the same voice over internet protocol number as last week’s threats to Wolf Creek Local Schools. ¯ Early dismissal impacted elementary and high school buildings for each district. ¯ All three school districts threatened Monday confirmed increased security will be in place in the districts today and Wednesday.

Safety threats made at Waterford, Fort Frye high schools | News, Sports, Jobs

UPDATE: Fort Frye High School has been evacuated after receiving a bomb threat. According to the district’s Facebook page, the threat was made at approximately 10 a.m. Students at the high school and neighboring Beverly-Center Elementary are safe, it says/ Lowell and Salem-Liberty Elementary schools have been placed on lockout as a precaution. WATERFORD Another safety threat is disrupting the day at schools in Washington County. Washington County Sheriff Larry Mincks said officers are at Waterford High School conducting an investigation. The Fort Frye Local school district posted on its Facebook page that Beverly-Center Elementary and Fort Frye High School are on a lockout “because of another safety threat at a neighboring school district.”
