Shawnee County Sheriff Brian C. Hill identified the woman in custody as Elise N. Shea, 30, of Prairie Village.
Deputies were called shortly before 3 a.m. Friday on a report of a one-vehicle crash in the 8000 block of S.W. Topeka Boulevard, where they found a car Shea had been driving in the west ditch, Hill said.

They said she was being held late Friday morning in connection with one count each of felony drug possession, driving under the influence, transporting an open container of alcoholic beverage, improper driving on a laned roadway, interference with a law enforcement officer, trafficking in contraband in a correctional or care facility and possessing drug paraphernalia.
