LEONARDTOWN, MD – The Commissioners of St. Mary's County (CSMC) began their regular business meeting with the invocation and pledge, followed by approval of the consent agenda.
The Commissioners then presented a proclamation for LGBTQIA Month and a commendation for David Yingling’s retirement. The Commissioners and the Department of Human Resources presented Years of Service awards to county employees who have served ten years or more.
The Commissioners postponed a decision on updating the St. Mary’s County Road Naming and Addressing Manual.
During County Administrator time, the Commissioners took the following action:
Approved the State’s Attorney’s Office request to apply for the FY2024 GOCPYVS Edward J. Byrne Memorial Justice Assistance Grant. Approved the Department of Human Resource’s updates to the personnel policy manual. Approve
