An 18-year-old Hanover man is facing several assault and weapons charges after a stabbing late Wednesday night.
According to a Hanover Police media release, officers responded to reports of a stabbing and a man bleeding on the sidewalk near the 300 block of 11th Avenue in Hanover at 11:40 p.m. Wednesday night.
Officers found a 30-year-old Hanover man suffering from several stab wounds upon arrival at the scene. Grey County Paramedics transported the victim to the Hanover and District Hospital where he was stabilized and later air-lifted to a trauma centre for surgery.
