受连日来的高温少雨天气影响，新田县三井镇茂家社区数百亩早中稻田不同程度发生旱情。社区“两委”和驻村工作队急农户之所急，抓落实出实招、顶酷暑重实干，通过逐洞逐丘调查旱情、实地指导抽水保苗、积极协调双合水库灌区调水、组织党员干部开展渠道清淤等措施抗旱保苗，力争将旱情影响降到最低。
由于气候、地理因素的影响，茂家社区十年九旱，不仅严重危及农业生产安全，个别特殊干旱年份人畜饮水都有困难。如何从根本上解决全村的水利问题一直是困扰村两委的心病。今年新一任驻村工作队到村履职，通过实地调查摸底全面掌握实际情况后，积极协助村“两委”全面规划、统一布局，日常工作中主动作为出实招、不畏辛劳重实干。截至目前，各项水利设施建设工作有序推进，确保农田得到及时灌溉。
