Molokai’s main provider is currently in Phase 1c of the vaccine priority group, while Lanai’s main provider estimates that it may be able to vaccinate all those eligible and seeking inoculations by the end of this month.

Spokeswoman Tracy Dallarda said that Maui Health is finishing “the last batch of about 1,000” of the 5,000 people whose appointments had to be rescheduled after clinics closed in January due to a shortage of the vaccine.

The images led to a $75,000 county violation fine against the condominium association and the contractor over environmental and permitting issues, which is being appealed by both parties. NICK CLEVELAND photo Hololani Resort Condominiums and Goodfellow Bros. are appealing a $75,000 county violation alleging their shoreline restoration work temporarily put the environment at risk. The Maui Planning Commission must decide on the appeal, which began Tuesday during the commission’s regular meeting. After about five hours of testimony and questioning, the contested case hearing was recessed to a special meeting at 9 a.m. Jan. 27.
