Website & Survey Created For County Manager Recruitment COUNTY Los Alamos County has launched a website with news and updates about the recruitment process for a new County Manager. Current County Manager Harry Burgess is retiring Friday, May 28. To ensure the recruitment for the next County Manager is a success, the consultant (CPS-HR) hired by the County Council is seeking the community’s feedback with a short survey designed to collect information to help identify the unique and important characteristics necessary for the County Manager position. Collected information will be used in designing interview questions and assessment activities that will assist in determining whether candidates possess the attributes being sought.

County Council Seeks Applicants For Board Of Registration COUNTY News: The Los Alamos County Council is seeking applicants to fill a two-year term on the local Board of Registration, which also serves as the Canvassing Committee after elections. There will be five members appointed to this Board with no more than two members appointed from any political party. Consideration and appointment of applicants for the Board of Registration has been placed on the Council’s 6 p.m. June 8 meeting agenda. A call for letters of interest is now open and letters are due to the County Manager no later than 5 p.m. Thursday, May 20.
