Coronavirus in NKY: 339 new cases and no new deaths reported Jeanne Houck, Madeline Mitchell, Segann March and Quinlan Bentley, Cincinnati Enquirer © File photo Coronavirus Wednesday, Dec. 30, update: A total 339 new cases of COVID-19 and no deaths were reported in Northern Kentucky on Wednesday. The total death count remains at 165, according to the Northern Kentucky Health Department.  The total number of COVID-19 cases in Boone, Campbell, Grant and Kenton counties is now 22,736, according to the health department.  The active cases break down this way by county: Boone: 823. Boone: 43. Kenton: 79.  Tuesday, Dec. 29, update: A total 251 new cases of COVID-19 and one new death were reported in Northern Kentucky on Tuesday.
