WINCHESTER — Michael Antonio Hill, who was charged with stabbing his relative to death in 2022, pleaded guilty Tuesday in Frederick County Circuit Court to second-degree murder.
A Gladstone woman pleaded guilty Monday to attempted malicious wounding of a law enforcement officer, but a judge is deferring a ruling of guilt for two years and will dismiss the charge if certain conditions are met.
Matt Fariss, who was present in court Thursday standing next to Chuck Felmlee in an orange jumpsuit with family in attendance, is being charged with possession of Schedule I or II drugs, possession of a gun on a person with Schedule I or II drugs, violation of a protective order, improper tail lights, failure to display license plates and failure to obey highway marking, according to court records. Judge Stephanie Maddox granted Fariss a $5,000 secured bond. Fariss is ordered to pay $500 for release and be subject to random alcohol and drug screenings.
