PUEBLO COUNTY â Big pharmacy companies could pay big bucks to the state of Colorado in 2021.
The state Attorney General s Office is in the process of settling with pharmaceutical companies like Perdue.
The state AG says the companies have contributed to the opioid epidemic in Colorado.
Depending on the cooperation of local governments, the state could receive between $200 and $400 million over the next 18 years.
Pueblo County Commissioner Garrison Otiz said Pueblo County could receive $800,000 per year over that time span.
