LISBON The last group of people for now to be getting their second doses of Covid-19 vaccines at the vaccination complex lined up in their vehicles at the drive-thru clinic at the county fairgrounds on Friday.
Due to fewer people requesting the service, the county health department has decided to suspend the service for now. Health Commissioner Wes Vins said he could see them returning to the building in the fall, possibly to hold flu shot clinics or a Covid-19 booster shot that may become necessary due to variants. But at this point those who have been providing the weekly vaccination clinics will be going back to working their regular duties.
