Des Moines Register Iowa s Glenwood Resource Center faces yet another allegation that delayed medical care contributed to the death of one of the institution s residents.  In the latest case, state inspectors reported this month that state medical staff at the institution delayed calling an ambulance for more than two hours after a resident started showing signs of distress in June. The man died of a heart attack after finally being taken to a hospital.  The Glenwood Resource Center, home to Iowans with profound intellectual and physical disabilities, has been plagued by allegations of poor medical care and unethical research on its residents. In the past year, its superintendent and top physician have both been ousted.
