The Stevenson High School District 125 school board Monday appointed Don Tyer to fill the vacancy left by board member David Weisberg, who resigned in June after 11 years of service.
The district has sent a letter to parents saying that some bus routes will have to be canceled as the school year begins because they don't have enough drivers.
