The smouldering remnants of a scorched car were found near the Calgary airport just days after a city man went missing, a murder trial heard Wednesday.
Const. Terry Cote said he found the badly damaged vehicle on 84th Street N.E. between McKnight Boulevard and Country Hills Boulevard on Nov. 26, 2017.

Cote told Crown prosecutor Melissa Kostiuk that he was on routine patrol and went to the then-undeveloped grassy area of the city.
