500 families across Vanua Levu will receive relief parcels after ANZ Fiji announced it would donate $30,000 to Fijian community organizations providing relief to families affected by Tropical Cyclone Yasa.
The Fiji Staff Foundation has also donated a further $10,000 for relief and rebuild efforts, bringing the total donation to $40,000.
The amount is in addition to the $500,000 ANZ donated to Pacific organizations, including the Fiji Red Cross, earlier this year.
ANZ Fiji Country Head Saud Minam says people are doing it tough out there, and TC Yasa was the last thing Fijians needed in the lead up to the 2020 festive season.
