Chocolate company issues recall after bits of plastic found in candy

Lake Champlain Chocolates has recalled some of its candy after a customer found plastic pieces in it.

Lake Champlain Chocolates has issued a public alert and recall after a consumer found “brittle plastic pieces” in the candy.
According to an announcement with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, the products recalled include the company’s Five Star Bar in hazelnut, fruit and nut, almond and granola; organic milk chocolate bar with sea salt and almonds; milk chocolate almond bark and Chocolates of Vermont Green Mountain.
