Mar 2, 2021 Healthcare Workers Across the Country Get Vaccinated Frontline healthcare staff began receiving their vaccinations today. Among the first this morning were health workers at the Corozal Community Hospital, Matron Roberts Poly Clinic, Central Health Regional, San Pedro Polyclinic, the Integral Clinic, Belize Medical Associates. The simultaneous rollout today also included vaccinations at San Ignacio Community Hospital, Western Regional Hospital, Southern Region, the Specialist and Independence Clinics, the Isabel Palma Polyclinic and Punta Gorda Hope Building. Vaccinations for frontline workers continue through the rest of the week, including at the Karl Heusner Memorial and Northern Regional. The ministry is encouraging all COVID-19 workers to get immunized to protect both their own health and that of their patients. Minister of Health Michel Chebat participated in several legs of today’s effort in solidarity with medical personnel.
