Hard-working team at Priory Court Nursing Home in Burnham-On-Sea recognised
The team at Priory Court Care & Nursing Home in Burnham-On-Sea have been celebrating this week during their annual staff awards ceremony this week.
The Country Court Staff Awards recognised the hard work of the Burnham team plus Summer Lane Care & Nursing Home in Weston-Super-Mare, Stanton Court Care & Nursing Home in Stanton Drew and The Laurels Care Home in Draycott near Cheddar.
This year the Awards went ahead virtually; with nominations made online, and the judges then reviewed the entries and picked the winners with the Directors broadcasting from their own ‘Santa’s Grotto’.

A Huntingdon care home celebrates their annual Country Court Staff Awards.
The team at Ferrars Hall Care Home in Huntingdon have celebrated their annual Country Court Staff Awards on December 16.
Traditionally Christmas is an opportunity for Country Court directors to visit Ferrars Hall to say ‘thank you’ in-person to staff teams for all their hard work and to celebrate with their Staff Awards.
This year the Awards have gone ahead virtually; with nominations made online, the judges have reviewed the entries and the winners were announced in a series of virtual award ceremonies throughout December, with the Directors broadcasting from their own ‘Santa’s Grotto’.
RESIDENTS at a Northwich care home have been treated to wonderful collection of carols by a brass band performing in the carpark. Mereside Brass Band played out their set of festive tunes from the carpark of Lostock Lodge Care Home, as the delighted residents watched on from the comfort of their rooms. The band braved the adverse weather conditions to bring some much needed cheer, as a group of other residents gathered in the reception area to watch the performance.
The brass band braved the adverse weather to perform carols from the car park of the home. Staff at the care home are doing all they can to ensure the season of goodwill prevails and the residents have the opportunity to make the most of the festivities.

The care home says staff are doing everything they can to ensure the season of goodwill prevails and residents have the opportunity to make the most of the festivities.
“Residents have been getting creative and making decorations for their home,” says a spokesman.
“The crafting sessions have been a great opportunity to reminisce about Christmas in years gone by, as well as decorate the home.”
“Staff will be entering the residents’ creations in the Country Court ‘Deck the halls Creative Christmas Competition’.”
