All eighth-graders in New York City public schools will have the opportunity to learn about the Holocaust through field trips to the Museum of Jewish Heritage in lower Manhattan.
The Museum of Jewish Heritage visits are part of a $2.5 million private-public partnership that will start this fall and run for the next three years. It's expected to reach at least 85,000 students in district and charter schools.
