Gilbert Town Council is looking to address teen violence by going after hosts of unruly gatherings and banning those younger than 18 from possessing brass knuckles.
An ethics complaint filed by a former Gilbert Town Council member against the council but mainly targeting Councilman Jim Torgeson lacked merit and should be dismissed, an independent investigator said.
An outside investigator found no evidence Gilbert Mayor Brigette Peterson violated the town Code of Ethics and recommended dismissing the complaint filed against her by a councilman.
