CEBU CITY – More than 2,000 new infections of COVID-19 were recorded here in the past two days alone. Data from the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) showed that city tallied a record-breaking 1,126 new cases on Thursday, Jan. 20, which were the most cases in a single day since the pandemic struck.
