Laredo Mayor Pete Saenz held his sixth State of the City address on Wednesday, an annual event that recaps the work that the city has accomplished in the last year.
Usually held in an auditorium before a crowd, this year’s address was conducted as most events now are virtually. The mayor delivered a prerecorded speech, was filmed riding the bus to visit several council members in their respective districts and then was interviewed live by Jerry Garza, KGNS news director.
