All Philadelphia-owned buildings would be mandated to have dedicated lactation spaces for people to breastfeed and pump milk under a newly-proposed ordinance introduced by City Councilmember Katherine Gilmore Richardson. Existing facilities that do not have permanent lactation rooms would be required to designate spaces, and all newly-constructed or renovated buildings would need to include permanent spaces.
Instead of promoting all five endorsed candidates in one mailer, as is typical, the group sent one flier with two white candidates and another with three Black candidates.
