Calls for Loloee’s resignation have come in steadily since he pleaded not guilty to a slew of federal charges on Dec. 15. But the council member said he plans “be fully engaged as I continue to complete my term on the Sacramento City Council.”
The city council says it's necessary to help fund more police officers, but with rising prices and inflation, business owners fear it will take a bite out of their bottom lines.
“Our goal is to bring music, to bring people, to bring life to really strengthen the community and make people feel really proud of where they live,” said one Sacramento city council member.
