IN SPITE of concerns around anti-social behaviour, a PCSO and partner agencies are working to keep Currock and Upperby the “safe place to be” they believe it is. PCSO Amy Lambert , who covers Currock, Upperby and Old Harraby in Carlisle said: “The area for me is quite a safe place to be. I know it gets a bad rep but it’s a safe area. “Cumbria’s such a safe place to be. It’s not anything like the major cities.” PCSO Lambert went out on a patch walk with councillors for Currock and Upperby as well as housing agents from Riverside to hear residents’ thoughts on the issues impacting the area.
