Leaving the count centre on Sunday night Anthony Donohue (FG) could have been forgiven for expecting another long and arduous day of standing around waiting for something to happen. Having been informed that Jimmy Fleming of the Wexford Independent Alliance (WIA) had requested a full recount, Donohue, who had just 29 more votes than Fleming, was preparing to go through the whole thing again.
