Ward 1 Councilor Helen Moon asked the Director of Huma Resources Michael Taylor why there is a line item for Diversity and Inclusion when the city is implementing a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department. Taylor said there will still be an element of DEI that falls under his department despite the new office.
