Uniindia: Beijing, Apr 7 (UNI) The Chinese authorities on Friday sanctioned two US entities, namely the Hudson Institute and the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library, for violation of the one-China principle, the Chinese Foreign Ministry said.
The Ronald Reagan Presidential Library and a US conservative think-tank were among the organizations sanctioned by China. The move comes after Taiwan's President Tsai Ing-wen met with US House Speaker Kevin McCarthy.
A spokesperson for the Taiwan Work Office of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee on Friday announced sanction measures against diehard "Taiwan independence" separatist Bi-khim Hsiao.
