The rules prohibit sitting council members and the mayor from soliciting or accepting campaign donations from someone with active business at council, starting from the day the ordinance is filed with the council clerk. The regulations go into effect May 26.

Two more projects are getting a funding boost from Cincinnati's federal stimulus money. Council Member Liz Keating asked to delay a vote so the money could be considered along with the city budget this summer.
