Pretty Prairie superintendent search includes two area principals, Missouri curriculum director
USD 311 is looking closely at three candidates to fill the shoes of Superintendent Randy Hendrickson, who is stepping down after 20 years in the district.
Three educators have interviewed with the school board last week, and all have strong ties to Kansas education.
Two are local school principals: Andy Albright, the principal of Kingman middle and high schools, and Tige Stone, the principal of Colwich Elementary School.
The third candidate, Ashley Anderson, works as a director of curriculum in Missouri.
All three candidates grew up in Kansas, Anderson was raised in Chase County, Stone was in Goodland and Albright is a Pretty Prairie alumni.
