Councillors have given their approval to 69 new homes.
The Vistry Group, formerly Linden Homes, was previously granted outline planning permission for up to 145 homes to be built in Deeping St James.
The properties, which would consist of two to four bedroom homes, would be accessed by a central spine road from Linchfield Road and a secondary link road to Burchnall Close.
