Could Circumvent A.D. On Certain Crankshaft Assemblies Used In SAP And LYC 360-Series A/C Engines Superior Air Parts has been working with the FAA to develop and submit an Alternative Method of Compliance (AMOC) covering the recently announced FAA A.D. regarding certain Superior Air Parts manufactured crankshaft assemblies. The crankshaft assemblies were originally installed in new Superior Air Parts XP-Series Model O-360 and IO-360 engines and as replacement parts under PMA on certain Lycoming Model AEIO-360, IO-360, and O-360 engines.
