EUGENE Dana Altman expected an ugly game in Oregon’s return from a second pause due to COVID-19, and the Ducks, Washington State and game officials delivered just that.
The Pacific Northwest foes combined for 52 fouls, one shy of the Matthew Knight Arena record, including 28 by Oregon, who despite outshooting and outrebounding Washington State could not maintain its home dominance in the series.
